Our clients have discovered that there are many advantages to using a direct mail service that is also a full-service printer. Some of these advantages are obvious--and some are a bit more subtle. Tyme Graphics, an in-house, self-sustaining division of Tyme Direct, is the reason why many of our customer don't pay for brokered or sub-contracted printing services, or endure the scheduling nightmares and far less than ideal quality control that frequently result from doing business in that manner. All of our work is performed on premises, including prep, camera, photo-stripping and binding. Several 40-inch, multi-color presses, as well as a variety of smaller presses, are complemented by our paper warehouse and complete bindary. Using our printing facility usually saves our clients precious days on their printing and mailing schedules.
And the less-obvious pluses are equally significant. Our clients' printing production orders are initiated and monitored at every phase by the same knowledgeable account executives and sales staff who handle mailings. That means that all printing orders are supervised by staff members who are familiar with their clients' special needs and requirements. It also means that, as printing and mailing professionals, we see it as our job to make sure that every piece we print meets all applicable postal regulations. We'll make sure your printed material has the correct indicia, that the address panel is designed properly to allow for automated and barcoded addressing, and that unnecessary postage surcharges will not be incurred as a consequence of slight errors in size, weight or configuration.
